This handheld sound level meter is very easy to use, just switch it on, set the range and start measuring. The wide 40-130dB range (120dB is pain threshold!) makes it useful for many situations including noise pollution monitoring, home theatre setup, health and safety compliance, vehicle noise testing etc.

In particular it meets the LTSA requirements for the ‘Noise Quick Check’ (when combined with the sound meter calibrator). It comes in a foam lined plastic case with compartments for the windscreen sponge and spare battery.
